Karen was one of my Ms World 04 classmates, and Michelle, the current Ms San Diego Leather 2005, was one of our ASL interpreters for the event! She's the one that taught me how to say dirty words in sign language!

Southwest Leather Conference was a really fun event. I was honored by being hosted at the home of Whipmaster Bob, and taken good care of by Linda "Bootpig" Hall (www.bootpig.net), piglet and Keith Tomlinson, SW Leatherboy 2002. I wasn't in town all that long before I was given the additional honors of being the alternate judge for the Southwest Bootblack Contest! I was profoundly touched by the outpouring of support for my platform over the course of the weekend, to include special time spent with several individuals whose lives have been or will soon be touched by organ donation and transplantation. A special thanks goes to Nikki and the Donor Network of Arizona for providing educational materials.
